So my old blog "Tales from the Byrdnest" is now going to be totally devoted to my family and mostly run by Emily (there might actually be regular postings now).
I still wanted a place of my own, a place where I can be me, a place...

So the three postings of the same day in March -- that's me moving my crap and making room over at the "other" blog for quality content.

About the Simpleton
I'm a simple man, I like spicy food and spicy food likes to destroy me (I has the reflux), I provide tech support for Cisco Systems (if you really want to know more ask, I'll leave the details out for the other 99.99% of the population who could give a rats...), I drive a mail truck on the weekend, and am working on a B.S. degree in Information Systems.
I have a heavenly wife, sainted mother, and have sired four formidable adversaries. My bother is ridiculously awesome and I'm fortunate in that I love all my in-laws.
Someday I'd love to have a home recording studio, a web comic, and legions of minions. I regret not going on a cross country road trip after high school graduation, serving a mission, and not giving a shot at being a stand up comedian. I still plan on doing the road trip and mission someday, the stand up comedy not so much.
I'm proud of my family, to be an American, and to be a Mormon.
I'm Awesome.
